Padilla
President
William Padilla handles
estimating, bidding, buy-outs and on site management with a commitment
to excellence. His construction experience began straight from high school,
where he was accepted into the carpenter's union apprentice program. He
graduated as a master carpenter from NYC District Technical College, holding
first place in City wide carpentry competition and 2nd place in State
wide competition. He also attended at CUNY Technology College where he
furthered his studies in construction technology.
He joined NYC
Fire Fighters in 1982 and retired as Lieutenant in late 2002, however
he continued with his passion for construction, working for many construction
companies, private home owners and various not-for-profits as a carpenter.
In 1996 he teamed up with Edgar Miranda to established Bronx Base Builders.
Edgar Miranda
Vice President
Edgar Miranda handles
Project negotiations, subcontracting and field operations, with twenty
seven years of construction experience and five years of college level
studies at NYC District Technical College, Nassau Community College, and
Lehman College. His carpentry career started with an apprenticeship and
classroom training at NYC District Technical College; and nineteen years
as a journeyman. He held the position of foreman for the last fifteen
years. In 1996 he teamed up with William Padilla to established Bronx
Base Builders.
